Scholarships
Overview
Unlocking the potential in students of diverse backgrounds, especially the underprivileged, to pursue their academic dreams which fosters social mobility and ensures bright futures, with a focus on "giving back" through social service to create a positive impact within the community.
REQUIREMENTS
- The applicant must be a Malaysian citizen.
- Minimum CGPA 3.5 in STPM or other equivalent qualifications (i.e. A-Levels, UEC Matriculation, Foundation of Diploma).
- Minimum 6As in SPM or other equivalent qualifications (i.e. O-Levels or GCE).
- Non-recipient of other scholarships, loans or financial assistance, except PTPTN loan is acceptable.
- Commencing or currently undergoing full-time first degree programme in local public or private universities.
- Internship / practical training at Newfields or its affiliates is compulsory.
- Willing to serve Newfields Group for a specified term upon graduation.
- Study for full time is required.
- Applicable for B40 or M40 household with income of RM8,000 and below only with priority given to applicants from single-income or single-parent families.
- Only shortlisted applicants will be required to attend an interview by a panel of interview from Newfields Group.
- Only successful applicants will be notified.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
- Newfields Scholarship is offered only once a year.
- The scholarship is renewable every semester at the absolute discretion of the sponsor and subject to satisfactory academic performance and conduct.
- The scholarship recipient is required to maintain a CGPA of 3.3 every semester.
