The Newfields Group was established in 2002 by Mr. Seow Lun Hoo. It was founded on the premise that an independent advisory firm has the same ability to provide the expertise, solutions and relationships to businesses as other larger banks in the industry. Our business is built on a strong team of professionals who are picked from various industries to help develop solutions and execute them for our clients.
Mr Seow has spent over 30 years in various roles in the Insurance and Banking Industry in Hong Kong and Malaysia. In his last role, he served as the President and CEO at Hong Leong Credit Bhd (now known as Hong Leong Financial Group Bhd). Newfields Advisors Sdn Bhd is licensed by the Securities Commission of Malaysia under the Capital Market & Services Act 2007. In the past 7 years, Newfields Advisors has achieved significant recognition in the financial industry in Malaysia for its role in originating and advising a slew of deals.

In 2004, the Group ventured into the property development scene and started up its new arm - Newfields Property. Newfields Property launched its maiden project, Puchong Gateway – a 52-acre Integrated Commercial Hub located next to the LDP in Southern Puchong. Phase 1 of the development was completed and delivered 6 months ahead of schedule in April 2009. Following the success of Phase 1, the Group recently launched Phase 2 of its landmark project - Gateway Square.
With several new projects in the pipeline, Newfields Property is set to make its mark as a trusted developer in the local property scene.
